01

UX Research

The team conducted multiple interviews and performed observations, delving into how people work with each other in creative maker spaces.

We set up a projector on our studio ceiling and led co-design sessions with people, projecting both the Procession software and Wizard-of-Oz prototypes (using Miro).

During our co-design sessions we saw people would still use their cell phones, which went against the objective to move away from screens. This sparked new possibilities: How might we add more generative and visual capabilities for Procession?

Concept Refinement

After seeing positive reactions, and to maximize the value of using projection onto space while working with creative teams, we began honing in on the possibility of "generative" and "visualization" aspects.
